The Institute’s model puts our members at the center of their own learning and supports a reimagined educational system. What makes mySTEP unique is that each member personalizes a high school plan that includes a wholistic approach to learning based on our model that targets six components: Knowledge, Pathway, Health, Money, People and Life. This includes planning out classes and training needed to pursue dream careers and design their own path. In addition, high school students have the opportunity to design course sequences that may include early college classes (dual credit) and private online education. Furthermore, members have access to support sessions, college and career preparation, collaborations with peers, applicable tools, and experiential opportunities. As a result, learning is designed around what fits learners today and is updated regularly for their future. In conclusion, these personalized plans ensure core content knowledge and allow the freedom to explore interests at a deeper level.
